Eight Years

It's hard to believe, but today I am celebrating my eighth anniversary as the pastor of Rocky Mount Christian Church. That might not seem like a big deal, but it is to me. First, the longest I ever had the same employment before this was four years. Second, I figured that I would make it about four or five years at RMCC when I first started. A New Year

I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a Happy New Year! Macey asked if we were going to stay up to watch the new year come in. I will stick with my tradition of going to bed at 10 PM. Interesting Stuff …

Eugene Peterson, the author of many books, most notably The Message, is interviewed on an NPR program. He talks about many things. He talks about language, prayer, the Psalms, and so much more. If you happen to have some free time, listen to this wise man talk about faith and life. Thanks for Tom Firebaugh for sending this in.
