9 years!

It is hard to believe, but I have been your pastor for over nine years now. March 16 is what I call my "pastor anniversary." That was the date that I first came to RMCC in 2011. Where has the time gone? It some ways, it seems to have flown by. I am very fortunate to look back over these nine years and have so many happy memories. Yes, there have been bumps in the road along the way and we have lost some people whom

Remembering Edith

This past Sunday, Edith Jamison departed her earthly life to be with God and the saints who had gone before her. To me, it all seemed so quick. Eight Years

It's hard to believe, but today I am celebrating my eighth anniversary as the pastor of Rocky Mount Christian Church. That might not seem like a big deal, but it is to me. A New Year

I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a Happy New Year! Macey asked if we were going to stay up to watch the new year come in. I will stick with my tradition of going to bed at 10 PM. However, I have to say that I am looking forward to 2019. As I thought about it, I have so much to look forward to. I can look forward to growing in my faith more. I can look forward to another year with

Thanksgiving

I admit that I was trying to get some Christmas shopping done early this week. I was searching for some things to get the kids. However, everything that I looked at seemed to be so expensive. I thought, "They're not getting that!" During my online shopping spree, something hit me that I had never thought about ... a memory that was long-buried in my childhood. I suddenly remembered one of my Christmas requests I made of my mom one year. I asked for a waterbed. Seriously. As
