Remembering Rosalie

Today, we remember and celebrate the life of Rosalie Cooper. Unfortunately, we cannot do that in the ways that we are used to. For most of you, my words will have to do, and I hope they will help. From the day that I came to Rocky Mount Christian Church, Harry and Rosalie have been loyal friends to me. I cannot even begin to count the number of lunches I went to with Harry and Rosalie, but I do know that I enjoyed each one of

9 years!

It is hard to believe, but I have been your pastor for over nine years now. March 16 is what I call my "pastor anniversary." That was the date that I first came to RMCC in 2011. Eight Years

It's hard to believe, but today I am celebrating my eighth anniversary as the pastor of Rocky Mount Christian Church. That might not seem like a big deal, but it is to me. First, the longest I ever had the same employment before this was four years. Second, I figured that I would make it about four or five years at RMCC when I first started. I just didn't think I would be so fortunate to end up at a church full of loving, kind, and faithful

A New Year

I wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a Happy New Year! Macey asked if we were going to stay up to watch the new year come in. I will stick with my tradition of going to bed at 10 PM. However, I have to say that I am looking forward to 2019. As I thought about it, I have so much to look forward to. I can look forward to growing in my faith more. I can look forward to another year with
